Specialty Zinnias on Our Farm

That we plan to share with you via a fundraiser hopefully sometime in January 2024, so be sure you are signed up for our newsletter as that is where we will be sharing any announcements of important sale dates & times!

Each of our Dearest series started when back in 2021 I saved some open pollinated zinnias that I really liked and then grew them out in isolated areas the following year. I culled or discarded anything I did not like to zero in on different colors and tones for each mix. So far, each one of these mixes are named after my mother Dearest & one of our girls. This year I made a number of other discoveries & am hoping to also zero in on specific varieties within each mix that I hope to share with you here, but it will probably be awhile before they are ready. In the meantime, any of the varieties I share below that end in a number, still need a name to replace that number & I love hearing from you all on any name suggestions! Who knows, we just might use yours!

Dearest Joanna Mix Zinnias

My Joanna is more mellow, so this variety fits her personality perfectly as they are all the colors of the rainbow pretty much but in more muted, pastel tones.

Dearest Ellie Mix Zinnias

Ellie is our bright sunshine girl, so this mix reminds me of a stunning colorful sunset which fits her personality to a T.

Dearest Tabita Mix Zinnias

Anyone who knows our Tabita would say she is definitely the peach in the family, especially when it comes to kissing her chubby cheeks, so this mix includes all of the peachy, coral & creamy tones. A sweet tribute to her adorable personality!

Cupcake Pastel Shades Mix Zinnias

This mix is from a sweet friend of mine, Brittany from Miss Madaline’s Dahlias. She has graciously allowed us to grow out & sell this beautiful mix that comes in all shades of pink.

Dawn Creek Mix Zinnias

Kori from Dawn Creek Farm has been one of the sweetest & most generous people I have found in this flower community! She has worked so hard to create some stunning zinnia varieties & has allowed us to sell her seed as well! She receives a portion from all of our sales of her zinnia seeds!

All these here are ones that we are still working on and if we are successful, they will be needing a name to replace their #. Their current name is listed under each photo.
