Here is a brand new variety for our 2025-2026 Zinnia seed sale!
Definitely another favorite of mine! These ones come in a range of all the colors of a Sunset (these ones came from the D.J. Sunset Mix) but my most favorite part about these ones is how the petals are all lined with a golden highlight making them almost glow! Absolutely stunning and a must grow!
PLEASE NOTE: This mix is still being worked on to perfect it even more, THEREFORE you will VERY LIKELY have some plants that do not fix this mix which is actually the way I have found each of our new varieties that we are working on. Maybe you will find something special too but please remember there may be a few you do not like as well. All in all I think you will be pleased to grow these beauties in your garden!!
Seeds per packet: a MINIMUM of 25 (I like to be generous though 😊)

Bloom size: Approximately 2” in diameter
Plant in Full Sun
Planting Depth: 1/4in
Days to germination: 2-5 days
Germinates at: 60°F-80°F
Plant spacing: About 9in.
Days to maturity: 75-95 days
You can direct sow these into the ground if you'd prefer but I find the best way is to start these indoors about 2in under grow lights, 4 weeks before your last frost. Be sure to acclimate them slowly to the outdoors at least 1 week before planting outside. This way you get ahaed on the season and better germination results!
