Zinnia, All of the Beauty

This is a mix of zinnia seeds from so many beauties that grew on our farm this year and will range from all the colors and forms. We collected from these very ones in the pictures which were the more mature blooms hence the reason why they look spotty & aged.

Zinnias are most definitely a flower workhorse and if you do not as yet grow these you will definitely want to! If you do grow zinnias already then I need not tell you anymore how wonderful they are!

Seeds per packet: a MINIMUM of 25 (I like to be generous though :)

Height: approximately 48in

Plant in Full Sun

Planting Depth: 1/4in

Days to germination: 2-5 days

Germinates at: 60°F-80°F

Plant spacing: About 9in.

Days to maturity: 75-95 days

You can direct sow these into the ground if you'd prefer but I find the best way is to start these indoors about 2in under grow lights, 4 weeks before your last frost. Be sure to acclimate them slowly to the outdoors at least 1 week before planting outside. This way you get ahaed on the season and better germination results!
