Zinnia, Dearest Joanna Mix, LIMIT 1
These beauties are a BRAND NEW release for our Seed Sale this year! We are sharing them as part of our fundraiser to help raise funds to allow our family to continue to grow, breed and cultivate these amazing beauties along with many others we are working on! We also will be giving 10% of our proceeds to an orphanage that we help support in Uganda Africa. For these and other reasons we have priced them accordingly.
We have kept these isolated and culled out any unwanted plants but since this mix is fairly new, there still will VERY likely be plants that will not fit the mix or possibly ones that are even better than these (which is where we get some of our one-offs)! If isolated & unwanted ones are culled out, you too can save these seeds to grow out year after year!
Named after one of our daughters whose personality is more mellow, these stunning zinnias come in a range of all the colors of the rainbow but more muted and pastel. We have culled out all the plants with single blooms & most of the plants with semi double blooms as well so that this mix should be mostly double blooms.
Zinnias are most definitely a flower workhorse and if you do not as yet grow these you will definitely want to! If you do grow zinnias already then I need not tell you anymore how wonderful they are!

You can direct sow these into the ground if you'd prefer but I find the best way is to start these indoors about 2in under grow lights, 4 weeks before your last frost. Be sure to acclimate them slowly to the outdoors at least 1 week before planting outside. This way you get ahaed on the season and better germination results!
